The January festivities continue as Valiant responded to Teejay four hours after Teejay released his diss track aimed at Valiant.

Earlier yesterday (January 18), Teejay previewed his diss track on his Instagram account, stating that he is the real “Chippy.”

The “Drift” artiste sampled the “Drumline Riddim,” which was used during the infamous Gully and Gaza Clash in the early 2000’s.

The diss track by Teejay took aim at Romeich and Dj Mac.

Valiant responded on the Drumline Riddim as well, calling his now nemesis, “Timoya.” The song took aim at Sharon Burke, Teejay’s manager.

If you remember well last year, Teejay had resentment towards DJ Mac over the ownership of “Drift,” which helped propel his international career.

Valiant claimed that Teejay is “in his feelings” due to his refusal to be featured on Teejay’s upcoming album, “I am Chippy,” which is expected to be released on February 2.

Social media fans have been likening Teejay’s flow and lyricism to Vybz Kartel, while Valiant is being compared to Movado due to his melodious flow in his comeback.
