Eminem vs Slim Shady

American rapper Eminem has been having a personal beef with… himself?

In a new video, thanks to the help of AI, Em sits down with his alter ego, Slim Shady, to go head-to-head.

The video, which is a part of Complex magazine’s cover story, features a somewhat calm, brunette Eminem debating with a clean-shaven, bleached blonde Shady about Eminem’s style of music, the late Christopher Reeve, Caitlyn Jenner, and MGK.

In the hilarious back-and-forth, Eminem tries to distinguish between Slim Shady, introduced in the 1990s, and Eminem, who does not find humour in tragedy and is more “humanistic.”

Slim Shady states that ever since Eminem retired him, his music has become lame and that people want to be entertained.

Eminem retaliates, stating that Slim Shady makes people angry, saying, “Every other week on TikTok, Gen Z discovers you [Slim Shady] on Monday and cancels me on Tuesday.”

The video is a part of the roll out for the release of Eminem’s latest album “The Death of Slim Shady” and was done in collaboration with A.I. firm Metaphysics.

The Death of Slim Shady has topped the Billboard 200 Charts with the biggest sales week of 2024 in Hip Hop.

Mr. Vegas Says Spice and Vybz Kartel Ruined the Fabric of Dancehall

Dancehall artiste Mr. Vegas claims that fellow dancehall artistes Spice and Vybz Kartel have “totally destroyed the fabric of Dancehall.”

In another controversial Instagram Live session, the “Heads High” artiste criticized Spice after her performance at the recently held Unruly Fest UK.

In the now-viral video, Spice calls a man on stage to dance to one of her more salacious songs.

According to Vegas, Spice lacks “talent,” and though he acknowledges her great stage performance skills, he believes she lacks substance when it comes to recording. He added that the former Queen of Dancehall, Lady Saw, would not do what Spice does.

The controversial artiste blames Vybz Kartel and Spice for the current direction of dancehall music, due to, what he considers, the high sexual content.
