Actor and Comedian Kevin Hart says that he will not be hosting the Oscars and is imploring anyone with that idea to banish the thought.

The comedian had to step down from his hosting duties for the prestigious award show in 2019 after homophobic remarks he made on Twitter surfaced online and fans were outraged.

Hart recently had an interview with Sky News to promote his Netflix Movie titled “Lift”.

In the sit down chat he stated “Those gigs aren’t good gigs for comics. It’s no shot to the Oscars, no shot to the Globes or anything else. Those just aren’t comedy friendly environments anymore.”

The 44-year-old comedian has previously hosted the Bet Awards, the MTV Video Music awards and the MTV Movie Awards.
