Kanye West has been a bad guy and is now on punishment.
The rapper and billionaire has been suspended from Instagram after he posted a racial slur hate speech, harassment and bullying, directed at “Daily Show” host and comedian Trevor Noah.
West violated the platform’s policies on hate speech, bullying and harassment, according to Meta. He is restricted from posting, commenting and other actions for 24 hours and the company will take further action if necessary.
Trevor Noah weighed in on Kanye’s feud in the latest episode of The Daily Show, warning that the online fight between the former couple could get violent and was ‘terrifying to watch’. “You may not feel sorry for Kim because she’s rich and famous,” Noah said in the segment. “But what she’s going through is terrifying to watch and shines a spotlight on what so many women go through when they choose to leave.”
In response to Trevor Noah’s comments, Kanye posted a screenshot of a Google search for the comedian on his Instagram account, accompanied by the lyrics to ‘Kumbaya, My Lord’, which he changed to include a racial slur.
The post has since been removed.
