Jamaican and European athletes will have more global Indoor Meets in which to compete, following the latest news of an expanded calendar of 44 World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver, Bronze and Challenger meetings due to take place across Europe next year.
The centre-point of the indoor season is the European Athletics Indoor championships in Istanbul from March 2- 5 and 43 of those meetings will be held ACROSS Europe in the build-up to the Championships.
This will give athletes access to high quality competition to obtain qualifying standards and ranking points as well as prize money.
The calendar of 44 World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver, Bronze and Challenger spans 16 countries, beginning on January 22 with the CMCM Indoor meeting in Luxembourg and culminating on March 11 with the Perche Elite Tour in France.
