Keith Wellington, president of the Inter-secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA), said that although the organization has hired a competitions director, it will closely collaborate with the major national athletic organisations to monitor the operation of its many tournaments this season.

George Forbes, who left ISSA in 2020 after more than 18 years as its director of competitions, is succeeded by Nicola Brown. Brown won’t be responsible with handling the specifics of the post as it was before.

Ewan Scott, who has extensive expertise in football administration, has been reappointed by ISSA to oversee the tournaments when the schoolboy football season gets underway on September 10.
