American rapper Fat Joe has credited Jamaicans for his 2004 hit single “Lean Back” once again.
The “What’s Luv” singer sat down with Jennifer Hudson during yesterday’s (May 21) airing of the Jennifer Hudson Show.
When asked about how the hit single came about, Fat Joe had this to say.
“Lean Back” was a part of Fat Joe’s hip-hop group called Terror Squad’s second studio album, True Story, released on June 1, 2004. The single also features fellow rapper Remy Ma.
After its release, Lean Back topped both the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Singles and Tracks and the US Billboard Hot 100 charts.
