DJ Khaled released his long-teased new album Father of Asahd at midnight, and as expected, the new album is packed with huge name features.

JAY-Z, Beyoncé, Cardi B, Nas, SZA, Travis Scott, Lil Wayne, Future, Post Malone, 21 Savage, Chance the Rapper, Big Sean, J Balvin, and many others appear on the album.

It also includes “Higher,” which features the late Nipsey Hussle and John Legend.

The follow-up to 2017’s Grateful is executive produced by his son Asahd Tuck Khaled and released via We the Best/Epic.

Khaled’s 2018 singles “Top Off” with JAY-Z, Future, and Beyoncé, and “No Brainer” with Justin Bieber also feature on the project.

The dancehall side features some big names like Sizzla Kalonji, Buju Banton, and Mavado.

Ever since the release date for DJ Khaled’s next album was announced, speculation has been rife as to which Jamaican artistes would be featured on the project.

And when the internationally acclaimed producer made two trips to Jamaica in a matter of months, it became almost certain that the album would have a strong Jamaican influence.

Leading up to the project’s release, Khaled partnered with TIDAL to release an exclusive documentary titled Father of Asahd: The Album Experience.

The preview of the upcoming documentary features cameos by Jay-Z, Meek Mill, SZA and others.

The documentary will also showcase the making of the album and will feature some scenes shot in Jamaica.
