Culture and Entertainment Minister Olivia Grange says the Creative Production and Training Centre CPTC, is in the process of being retooled.
The Minster says this will be done with the support of the CHASE Fund.
The retooling will include a modernising and strengthening of the CPTC with new studio and electronic news-gathering equipment as well as outside broadcasting facilities.
Ms. Grange noted that the CPTC, which plays a major role in national life, facilitates the National Political Debates and produces hundreds of hours of national events programming as well as cultural content each year, including Reggae Month, the Independence grand gala, Hill an’ Gully Ride, among others.
