Veteran dancehall artiste Mad Cobra is facing legal troubles in the United States.
This, as he’s now facing charges of trafficking cocaine and possession of a weapon in South Carolina yesterday. According to reports the veteran deejay was pulled over for exceeding the speed limit on Interstate 95.
Deputies from South Carolina’s Florence County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on his Black BMW SUV, when it was discovered that the entertainer had in his possession, two (2) kilos of cocaine and a Beretta 9mm pistol.
He was subsequently arrested and charged with Drug/Trafficking in cocaine and Weapons/Possession.

Cobra who’s real name is Ewart Everton Brown, rose to prominence in the 90’s, is known for his many hits including ‘Flex’, ‘Dun Wife’, ‘Defend It’ among others.
he’s 55 years old. Bail has been set at US$125,000.
