After vacationing in Barbados with Rihanna, rapper Asap Rocky’s joy was quickly taken away after he landed in LA this morning.
As soon as Asap touched down in his private jet at the LAX, he was met by cops at the terminal and taken away in handcuffs. According to NBC News Rocky was detained in connection with a November 2021 shooting, details of which had not previously been disclosed.
Reports are stating that Rocky had been under investigation by the LAPD since then. The shooting victim, who survived, later told police that Rocky approached him with a handgun on the street, shot at him three to four times and grazed his left hand.
Rocky’s lawyer Alan Jackson confirmed that his client has been arrested. The LAPD made the arrest with help from Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations team.
