The Jamaica Constabulary Force JCF has sought to clarify the circumstances surrounding the arrest of a man, who was seen on video making controversial statements about Prime Minister Andrew Holness.
The man who was wanted in relation to a break-in, was taken into custody by the St. Ann Police last evening (Mon).
The police said they have taken note of concern expressed following the circulation of the video on social media and the man’s arrest.
Head of the Constabulary’s Corporate Communications Unit, Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, said many persons have wrongly established a connection, between his arrest and the statements he made about the Prime Minister.
