Farmers and fisherfolk across the island can now access protection from adverse weather events, through the Grace Kennedy Weather Protect Insurance.
The insurance policy, which was launched this morning (Tues), provides protection from heavy rain, drought and wind.
In creating the product, Grace Kennedy says it researched and interviewed farmers and fisherfolk to understand their fears, concerns, and historical losses.
Farmers can sign up online, at GK locations or at RADA offices.
