Finance Minister Dr. Nigel Clarke has expressed confidence that Jamaica will rebound from the economic fallout by the coronavirus pandemic to record growth between 3-8% in the next fiscal year.
The Minister was responding to a question of whether the growth target was realistic during a presentation at the Mayberry Investments’ virtual forum yesterday.
He noted that the projections were coming from reputable agencies such as the Bank of Jamaica, while noting that there were indicators of growth seen this fiscal year despite the pandemic.
