The issue of rising crime and violence in St. James will feature prominently in discussions to be held on Wednesday when the Executive of the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and Industry meets.

This in the wake of several shootings, murders and robberies in recent weeks.

The latest involving a money courier and his security escort who were attacked and shot dead by armed robbers in Montego Bay yesterday.

Montego Bay Chamber President Winston Lawson says business operators are becoming more concerned about the crime rising levels, especially since the state of public emergency ended.
