The government has promised that Residents of Bamboo in St. Ann will get piped water by next year.
The assurance came from Water Minister Karl Samuda while responding to questions yesterday from the Opposition, during the Standing Finance Committee.
MP for south-east St. Ann Lisa Hannah and MP for north-west St. Ann Dr. Dayton Campbell raised concern about the long-promised Green park water well project that would supply water to several communities in the parish including Bamboo.
Ms. Hannah noted the frustration of the waiting residents.
