While many would know who 50 Cent is, others may struggle to remember the rapper Young Buck, and according to reports, that may all be 50’s fault.
According to TMZ, former G-Unit rapper Young Buck claims that he was forced into bankruptcy by 50 Cent. In 2010, he was forced to file bankruptcy and again, several years later.
While on the “It’s Tricky With Raquel Harper” podcast, Young Buck opened up about his relationship with 50. He said he had to take drastic measures, including bankruptcy because 50 tried to stop his bag. “I make my money through the music so of course him doing that stopped my income all around the board,” Buck said. “I had no choice but to go down that route.”
Buck says 50 sent him a cease-and-desist letter to block him from releasing music. As a result, he filed for bankruptcy to discharge his debts, including money 50 claims he still owes.
In September 2021, 50 Cent was reportedly planning to sue Young Buck over music he says Buck still owes G-Unit. According to court documents in Young Buck’s bankruptcy case, 50 Cent planned to collect on a $250,000 debt Buck supposedly owed and two albums he never finished for G-Unit.

For those who may not know, the “In Da Club” rapper formed G-Unit with Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks and Buck back in 1999.
