It has been 102 days (almost 4 months) since The Weeknd announced his album ‘Chapter VI’ and we have not received any word about it.
So far, within the 4 months of waiting, The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, has only released one single featuring Gesaffelstein titled ‘Lost in Fire’. Also, instead of releasing more singles we saw him getting into a feud with fellow Canadian rapper Drake, which resulted in Drake unfollowing the Weeknd on Instagram.
The album still does not have a release date but he made the announcement of the new album on November 13 while he was performing in a show in Toronto to celebrate the opening of the creative incubator HXOUSE founded by XO creative director La Mar Taylor. This will be Weeknd’s fourth studio album after releasing ‘Starboy’ back in 2016. Weeknd’s latest project was ‘My Dear Melancholy’ EP, released in 2017 and housed hits including ‘Wasted Times’ and ‘Call Out My Name’.
