Comedian now rapper, Tiffany Haddish, was arrested earlier this morning (Nov 24) just hours after performing at a comedy show for Thanksgiving.
A watch commander for the Beverly Hills Police Department reported that they were told the driver of Haddish’s vehicle was “asleep behind the wheel” at about 5:45am.
She was then arrest for DUI (driving under the influence) and is expected to be released this afternoon.
Haddish had previously been the subject of DUI accusations. The comic, who gained popularity from her part in the 2017 buddy film Girls Trip, was taken into custody in Georgia in January 2022 after onlookers claimed to have seen a driver who appeared to be “asleep at the wheel.” After being taken into custody and sent to the Fayette County Jail, she was later freed on bond. According to TMZ, Haddish is scheduled to return to court on December 4th in this ongoing lawsuit.
