John Davis, one of the real singing voices behind the infamous pop duo, Milli Vanilli, has died.
John’s daughter, Jasmin, shared the news on social media, saying that he died on May 24 after he lost his battle with Covid19, “My dad passed away this evening through the Corona Virus, He made a lot of people happy with his laughter and smile, his happy spirit, love and especially through his music. He gave so much to the world! Please give him the last round of applause. We will miss him dearly,” John was 66 years old.
Milli Vanilli was an R&B act fronted by Rob Pilatus and Fab Morvan. The duo came to a screeching halt after it was revealed that the men had not sung on their records. fans later found out that the real singing was done by vocalists behind the scenes, including Davis.
