There are fitness concerns for the Reggae Girls, as they gear up for their do or die return leg Olympic Qualifier this evening (Tues) against Canada, at the sold out BMO Field in Toronto.

Strikers Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and Jody Brown, received treatment on the sidelines yesterday, at the team’s final training session at the match venue, which could force coach Lorne Donaldson, to make changes to the starting team.

The Reggae Girls need a positive result in this game, to overturn a 2-0 defeat in the first leg last Friday inside the National Stadium, for the Canadians to earn a 10th consecutive win over Jamaica and first in the Caribbean since 1991.

This evening’s match is scheduled to get underway at 6:09pm Jamaica time.
