Kranium has parted ways with Atlantic Records.

The international recording artiste revealed via social media that his deal with the label has come to an end.

In an Instagram post, which shows him sitting beside several plaques awarded to him during his time with Atlantic, the entertainer said: “I was the only Dancehall artist signed to a major when I did the deal and it wasn’t easy being a dancehall artist based in New York City”

The caption continued with, “although I had a lot of great moments I had terrible experience in the mix and that’s what comes with taking chances!”

Kranium amassed over a billion streams while being signed. His IG post continued with ” 3 silver in the UK! Certified Gold in America! 3 Certified Gold and a Platinum in Canada that’s not a easy mountain to climb and we did that… but we finally come to an end of a dope partnership thanks to the Atlantic team and everyone that supported me. A “NEW” journey has officially begin!

He also thanked the record label and others who supported him along the journey.

While with Atlantic Records, Kranium released three full-length studio albums and an EP. His latest project, In Too Deep, was released last year.
