The Lost in Time Music Festival held at Hope Gardens on Saturday, February 24th, was a show to remember!
The festival, which was put on by Protoje, featured reggae artistes such as Romaine Virgo, Jesse Royal, Lil Aike, Sevana, Jaz Elise, Jah Lil, Naomi Campbell, Jah9, Royal Blue, Runkus, Ras–I, with surprise guests like Yohan Marley and Mortimer. A few dancehall artistes such as Jashii, Govana, Masicka, Agent Sasco, Popcaan, and Valiant, made the show memorable.
The Zee caught up with one of the headliners of the event, Jesse Royal, to speak on the importance of the event, especially during Reggae Month.
The festival was scheduled to last from 2 p.m. to 12 p.m. While the event itself ran smoothly, police were seen on stage, bringing the night’s festivities to an end. Many patrons were disappointed. Jesse himself had something to say.
