JAY Z AND LL COOL J INDUCTED INTO THE ROCK&ROLL HALL OF FAME

On Saturday, Jay Z and LL Cool J, who are considered Hip Hop legends, were inducted into the Hip Hop Hall of Fame.

JAY-Z, who earned his spot in his first year of eligibility while LL was finally inducted after being nominated six times since 2010.

Jay Z received recorded tributes from President Obama, Diddy, LeBron James, Chris Martin, Ed Sheeran, Jamie Foxx, Usher, and Pharrell, plus Beyoncé and Blue Ivy.

During his speech, Jay Z thanked his Roc-A-Fella Records business partners and paid respect to his inspirations including LL Cool J, KRS-One, and Chuck D. LL took the stage and gave a star-studded performance including Jlo and Eminem.

Other Rock Hall inductees included Tina Turner, who received a musical tribute from H.E.R. and Christina Aguilera, and Carole King, who was honoured by Jennifer Hudson.

The three-hour ceremony will air Nov. 20 on HBO and HBO Max.
