Champagne Papi has joined the “Free Vybz Kartel’ movement.
Even though he is a month late following the trial of the incarcerated dancehall artiste, the Canadian-American rapper took to his Instagram story to show his support.
In the “Wants and Needs” singer story this morning (April 2nd), he displayed a photo of a white t-shirt with a photo of Vybz Kartel being portrayed as a Pharaoh with a servant by his feet.
The words printed on the shirt read, “Up 2 Di Time… Free Kartel… Free World Boss”.
Last month, Vybz Kartel’s murder conviction case was quashed by the Privy Council and sent back to Jamaica’s Court of Appeal.
Drake has been very vocal about his support of Jamaican artistes.
