Nicki Minaj has dropped her new single with Lil Baby along with a whole movie.
‘Do We Have a Problem?’ is the first release from her upcoming fifth studio album. The nine-minute cinematic video was directed by Benny Boom and features actors Joseph Sikora and Cory Hardrict for cameo roles. The video was inspired by one of Nicki’s favourite movies of all time, ‘Salt’ starring Angelina Jolie.
During a recent Instagram Nicki praised her collaborator Lil Baby, she said, “Lil Baby, he might have… he might have got me! But listen, the point is Lil Baby went super-duper hard and it’s so refreshing to see people still care about that type of stuff. I still care about it.” She continued, “I don’t think people know Lil Baby was nice, but I will say that he pleasantly surprises me all the time. This particular record was just another moment when you could just tell the difference when somebody knows they’re here for a long time.”
‘Do We Have a Problem?’ also introduces Nicki’s new yet-to-be-named alter ego.
