Daena Soares was crowned Miss Universe Jamaica 2021 at last night’s Grand coronation show.
Trishanie Weller was First Runner Up, while Second Runner Up was Lauren Less.
Prime Minister Andrew Holness expressed his congratulations to the St Elizabeth native in a message last evening.
He said she gave a spectacular performance while wishing her all the best as she now looks to the Global event in Israel in December.
Soares is a 22-year-old recent graduate of the University of the West Indies.
