American rapper and producer Chance the rapper is getting divorced after five years of marriage.
Chance’s wife, Kirsten Corley, took to her Instagram story to make the announcement.
The post read, “After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways. We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the same time we spent together. God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together.”
Fans are speculating that this is a result of Chance’s behaviour during Jamaica Carnival back in 2023. Many described his dancing with another woman during the road march as inappropriate. He was in Jamaica last year.
According to Billboard, Chance and Kirsten have been friends since childhood. They eventually began dating as adults in 2013 before getting married in March 2019.
The couple share two daughters.
