Jada Pinkett-Smith is not the only person to release a memoir this month!
Pop star Britney Spear will be releasing her very own memoir on October 24th, titled “The Woman in Me”.
The book is expected to detail everything that happened in her life, from the good to the bad and the indifferent.
The megastar will also explain why she shaved her head back in 2007.
According to the “Baby One More Time” singer, she was at a low moment of going through a divorce and was under heavy scrutiny from the paparazzi when she decided to shave her head.
According to People Magazine, Spears documents, “I’d been eyeballed so much growing up. I’d been looked up and down, had people telling me what they thought of my body since I was a teenager. Shaving my head and acting out were my ways of pushing back.”
Spears recalls, “I became a robot. But not just a robot—a sort of child robot. I had been so infantilized that I was losing pieces of what made me feel like myself. The conservatorship stripped me of my womanhood, made me into a child.”
