Aaliyah‘s 2001 self-titled album returns to the top 10 of Billboard‘s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart for the first time since its original release year, while several of its songs have notable sales arrivals.

It’s the second recent reissue from Aaliyah’s long out-of-print Blackground Records catalog, following One In a Million, which re-entered at No. 5 on the Sept. 4-dated chart.

Aaliyah re-enters Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums at No. 7 on the list dated Sept. 25. The set earned 26,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Sept. 16.

Of that total, the majority – 15,000 units – are from traditional album sales, a sum that also makes it the top-selling R&B/hip-hop album of the week.
