Reggae Singer Mortimer has expressed gratitude to the organisers of the Jamaica Reggae Industry Association, (JaRIA) Awards, having received recognition for his musical efforts.
Mortimer copped two accolades.. Song of the Year title and Breakthrough Artiste of the Year during last month’s ceremony.
The Zee caught up with the “Lightning” Singer at the recently held Jamaica Rum Festival where he was billed as a headliner.
Meanwhile, Mortimer exclusively shares that he’s working on the release of his debut album . The full length project which is expected to be released later this year, would follow his EP, “Fight The Fight” which features the hit single “Lightning”.
