Drake’s ‘Take Care’ breaks record for most weeks on top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart

Drake’s ‘Take Care’ has become the album with the most weeks on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in its more than half-century-old history.

The Canadian rapper’s 2011 album was ranked 43 on the chart dated March 16, remaining on the list for the 186th week.

Take Care broke the record held by Kenny G’s Breathless, which earned 185 weeks on the chart for five years from 1992.

Drake’s nine albums have topped the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

The set reigned the chart for 12 weeks.

Take Care also won a Grammy for best rap album.
