Ziggy Marley to Release Bright Side

Share

Nine-time Grammy Award winner Ziggy Marley is stepping into a more reflective space with his ninth solo studio album, Brightside, due later this year.
The project will make a vinyl-only debut on April 18 for Record Store Day at independent record stores, followed by a full digital release on May 1 via Tuff Gong Worldwide.
Here's the really cool part: the album was recorded in 432Hz, a frequency commonly associated with meditation, to create a warmer, more grounding listening experience.
The album is led by Many Mourn For Bob, co-produced by Stephen Marley and marking the first time Ziggy has written and recorded an original song dedicated entirely to his father, Bob Marley.
The track emerged while Ziggy was working on the 2024 biopic Bob Marley: One Love, giving him what he describes as a new perspective on his father’s life and global influence.
Brightside also arrives during a milestone year for Ziggy, as 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of his Grammy-winning album Love Is My Religion.
