The 2022 MTV Movie and TV Awards happened on Sunday night at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica. last night Hosted by Vanessa Hudgens.
It saw MTV combining the annual Movie & TV and Unscripted award shows into one event.
As expected, Spider Man: No Way Home and HBO’s Euphoria were crowned the best movie and television show respectively. In addition, actors Tom Holland and Zendaya won best performance for their respective roles.
Actress Scarlett Johansson won best hero for her role as Black Widow, while Daniel Radcliffe took home the best villain award for his performance in ‘The Lost City’.
Jack Black received the Comedic Genius Award, and Jennifer Lopez accepted the Generation Award and delivered an emotional speech, where she thanked her kids, the people who gave her joy, and her manager Benny Medina.
