There’s a weak High Pressure Ridge across Jamaica.
The Met Office says this Ridge is to remain across the island through to the weekend. A low-Level Jet Stream is then expected to enter the central Caribbean on the weekend resulting in increased windy conditions across the island.
A Low-Level Jet Stream is a narrow band of fast flowing wind in the lower levels of the atmosphere.
