There’s a High Pressure Ridge across Jamaica.

Additionally, there is a Low-Level Jet Stream across the central Caribbean

The Met Office says the Ridge and Low-Level Jet Stream are expected to remain across the island through to tomorrow morning. A weak Trough is then expected to move across Jamaica Saturday afternoon into Sunday, with the Ridge quickly re-building thereafter.

This morning will be mainly sunny and windy along the south coast

This afternoon expect partly cloudy conditions across hilly areas.

Tonight will be fair.

A Small Craft Warning remains in effect for inshore and offshore areas of the south coast due to strong winds and rough seas.

Maximum temperature expected for Kingston today is 30 degrees Celsius, Montego Bay 29 degrees Celsius.
