At just 21 years old, Renaldo Alcott — known in music circles as Renaldo Entertainment — is already making waves in the Dancehall industry. The Westmoreland native is riding high on the success of his latest production, ABC, performed by rising star Jamal.
The track has been gaining significant traction, climbing to #12 on YouTube’s local Trending for Music chart as of Wednesday. It’s a major accomplishment for the young producer, who says he's thrilled by the response.
“This is just the beginning,” Alcott shared. “Seeing ABC connect with so many people really motivates me to keep pushing and perfecting my craft.”
A former student of Manning’s School, Alcott revealed that his passion for music solidified after high school. Deeply inspired by legendary producers like Dave Kelly and the iconic duo Sly and Robbie, he set out with the goal of building a name in the highly competitive Dancehall landscape.
With ABC marking his biggest success to date, Alcott is already back in the studio, focused on future collaborations and elevating the sound of Jamaica’s next generation.
