YG Marley is joining forces with Afrobeats star Davido for a new track titled "Awuke," set to drop on October 31.
The collaboration was revealed by Marley in a social media post shared with Davido, marking another venture into Afrobeats for YG, following Burna Boy's hint at a remix of YG’s hit "Praise Jah in the Moonlight" during his Glastonbury performance in July.
This year, YG Marley has been in high demand, gaining global recognition with his hit song "Praise Jah in the Moonlight," which became the first Reggae track in over seven years to break into the top 50 of the Billboard Hot 100.
In addition to his chart success, YG has achieved several milestones, including a gold certification in the US for selling 500,000 units and amassing over a billion streams on Spotify.
