The police are urging citizens, especially women to be vigilant about the vehicles they get into, including public passenger or red plate, cars.
This following reports that 3 women were abducted and robbed by armed men, who were operating a red plate taxi.
Head of the JCF Communications Unit, SSP Stephanie Lindsay was unable to state if the taxi was stolen, as the investigation is ongoing.
It is also not yet known if CCTV cameras were able to capture when the women boarded the vehicle.
SSP Lindsay said the only description police have of the car used in the abduction is a white Toyota Pro-Box.
She is urging women to take a picture of any vehicle they are about to board and send the photo to someone.
Persons are also being urged to turn on the GPS location setting on their phones.
