A 25 year old woman has been charged in connection with the murder of 14-year-old Terona “Tee-Tee” Thomas, a student of Cinnamon Crescent, Kingston 11.
The accused, Daniela Morrison, a contractor from Waltham Park Road, faces charges of Accessory Before the Fact and Accessory After the Fact to Murder.
According to reports from the Olympic Gardens Police, Morrison and a man allegedly rented a silver Nissan Note to facilitate the attack. Around 1:50 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, the armed man went to Hill Avenue, Kingston 11, where he opened fire on a group of people. Thomas and two others were shot. All three were taken to hospital, where Thomas was pronounced dead and the others admitted for treatment.
After the shooting, Morrison allegedly retrieved and returned the rented vehicle. She was later charged following a case review.
Detectives from the St. Andrew South Division continue to investigate and are pursuing additional suspects.
