The Met Office says there is a High Pressure Ridge across Jamaica.
The High Pressure Ridge coupled with a Low-Level Jet Stream builds across the island for the next few days.
On Tuesday, a Tropical Wave is expected to move across the island, thereafter, the Ridge quickly rebuilds.
Expect windy and hazy conditions to persist due to the presence of the Low-Level Jet stream across the island and the Saharan Dust within the Caribbean region.
