Walshy Fire from supergroup Major Lazer has debuted at number 5 on the Billboard Reggae albums chart.
The Jamaican-born Miami-raised DJ’s ‘Walshy Fire presents Abeng’ project is an 11 track compilation comprised of mainly Afro and Caribbean artistes.
Dancehall powerhouses Alkaline, Masicka, Kranium, Christopher Martin and Demarco are featured on the project, alongside major Caribbean names such as Nailah Blackman, Bunji Garlin, and Machel Montano among others.
The lead single from the album is titled, ‘No Negative Vibes’ and features Alkaline and Afropop artiste Runtown.
