Dancehall icon Vybz Kartel is booked for Wireless Festival, and the European fans are here for it!
Wireless Festival took to their social media accounts to drop the announcement yesterday (February 16).
This year, Canadian rapper Drake is set to headline the 2025 Wireless Festival in London and is set to perform all three nights from July 11-13.
Joining him on night 3 is Dancehall superstar, Vybz Kartel. This will mark one of Kartel’s first UK performances since his release from prison.
The festival will be celebrating its 20th anniversary and boasts an exciting lineup that includes Burna Boy, Summer Walker, and PARTYNEXTDOOR, with more artists to be revealed.
This will be Drake’s return to the UK after six years. Each night is expected to have a different setlist. Drizzy fans are ecstatic. However, the announcement of Vybz Kartel is generating a lot of buzz on social media.
Kartel is also scheduled to perform at the Summerjam Festival in Germany, with additional Caribbean shows planned for 2025.
Tickets for Wireless 2025 go on sale February 19, with pre-sales starting February 17 and 18.
