Gaza Nation, rejoice! The long-awaited music video for Vybz Kartel’s 2022 single Ignite The World has finally arrived. After teasing fans last week with behind-the-scenes footage, the official video premiered today on YouTube.
'Ignite The World' seems to be the first song in the World Boss’ vault of past hits to get the music video treatment since his release.
In a January interview with Billboard, Kartel revealed his plans to revisit fan-favourite tracks by not only making them available on streaming platforms but also shooting visuals for them. When asked about the process of clearing and releasing his music, he responded, “slowly but surely,” and confirmed that music videos were in the works.
The 'Ignite The World' video was shot and directed by renowned dancehall videographer Ruption in Miami, bringing Kartel’s vision to life with striking visuals.
Fans are already buzzing with excitement, eagerly anticipating which classic hit will get the next video treatment.
