Love is in the air...again! This time it is official!
Dancehall legend Vybz Kartel has officially proposed to Sidem.
Yesterday (Nov. 5), he uploaded a video of himself going down on one knee to propose to his long-time partner, Sidem Ozturk. The video starts with Vybz Kartel standing outside what looks like a hotel room; the video then shows Sidem sitting in the room.
Though the words Kartel uttered can’t be heard due to his song “Interracial” playing over it, his gestures suggest that it was a surprise.
An excited Sidem gushes as she wiggles her fingers before showing her ring to the camera.
The post had a heartfelt caption that read, “It's Official #1Wife 💍❤️I Proposed in Prison, Proposed in #RealLife . You were there when I needed you most and I'll never leave you baby. I cherish all the times you came to visit me and told me that it's going to be ok. I cherish all the times we spoke on the phone and in real life in the box. We laughed together we cried together and now we celebrate together! You're my best friend and my companion and I pray to God we stay together for as long as I Live. I Love you baby…”
