Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel is hopeful about regaining his U.S. visa.
In a recent interview with Billboard, the “Fever” singer said his lawyers have sent in all the paperwork and are waiting for a response.
Kartel wants this resolved before the 67th Grammy Awards slated for February 2, 2025, in Los Angeles, where he’s nominated for his album “Party With Me.”.
During the interview, the “Clarks” singer said, “We’ve done everything, so now we’re waiting. It would be great to be at the Grammys”.
Before his incarceration in 2011, the dancehall mogul’s U.S. visa was revoked in the early 2000s. Despite this, Kartel’s music remains popular worldwide, and fans are excited about the possibility of him attending the Grammys in person.
