Dancehall icon Vybz Kartel says the story of his life is heading to the big screen, confirming that a biopic is officially in the works.
The revelation came during a recent interview with DJ Akademiks, where the Worl' Boss also made it clear that retirement isn't anywhere on his radar.
Adding to the sentiment, Kartel went on to reveal that he recently recorded eight songs in a single day, saying his work ethic hasn't changed despite decades in the industry.
Alongside the upcoming biopic, the God and Time artiste is also developing a new reality series and has shared plans to expand his rum brand, Street Vybz, with new liquor products, including vodka.
The announcement comes as Kartel gears up for this Saturday's ‘A Taste of Sumfest’ music festival, which he will headline alongside sparring partner turned friend, dancehall star Mavado.
