Yesterday (November 6) marked the official launch of Dancehall mogul Vybz Kartel’s Freedom Street Concert, where the artiste unveiled the full lineup for the highly anticipated New Year’s Eve show.
One major highlight is the expected appearance of Popcaan!
In a humorous video posted on the “Fever” singer’s Instagram, fans got a glimpse of the long-time friends together in public for the first time. The snippet, taken from a TikTok live session, shows Kartel jokingly telling his fans that he doesn’t like them because they’re always asking for “Poppy.”
The video, captioned “Me no like unuh... ME LOVE UNUH!!!,” included a tag to the St. Thomas native.
In another clip shared on Popcaan’s Instagram, Vybz Kartel is seen opening a gift from his friend, which turned out to be a blinged-out Rolex. The two dancehall stars shared a laugh as Kartel expressed his gratitude for the gift.
