Videos from a crowded Lagos party have gone viral online, showing what appears to be a brawl between Wizkid’s official DJ-DJ Tunez- and Burna Boy, along with members of Burna Boy’s squad.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with some likening it to “10 against one.”
The altercation comes amid a long-running feud between Burna Boy and Wizkid’s camp, which has reportedly simmered over past professional disagreements, on-stage tensions, and ongoing online trolling.
Some sources claim DJ Tunez had been poking fun at Burna Boy online in recent weeks, suggesting that tensions between the two camps may have been building for some time. The rivalry isn’t entirely new, last November, Burna Boy faced heavy criticism after ejecting a sleeping fan from one of his concerts, sparking widespread debate among fans and the media.
In what many saw as a PR move to smooth over the backlash, Burna Boy began distributing coffee to concertgoers at subsequent shows. DJ Tunez seized the moment to throw shade publicly, posting a meme on X announcing that no coffee would be served at his own show and that fans were welcome to sleep if they liked, further stoking the simmering feud.
Accounts from partygoers are conflicting.
Some say the confrontation began over music choices, while others insist it stemmed from a more personal dispute between the two camps.
