This year’s staging of the Veterans for Veterans concert will once again be held virtually due to the pandemic.

The star-studded lineup includes acts such as Tarrus Riley, Bounty Killer, Agent Sasco, Tessanne Chin, Jermaine Edwards and Dean Fraser.

Veterans For Veterans concert is held every year as the main donation drive for the National Poppy Appeal, which aims to raise funds for the care of disadvantaged ex-soldiers. ‘Poppy’ flowers are worn as a show of support for the Armed Forces community. It was not until after the First World War when the poppy became an international symbol of remembrance and charity.

Chairman of the National Poppy Appeal and Executive Producer of the event, Lieutenant Colonel Warrenton Dixon, in a recent interview stated that their goal for this year is to raise Jamaican 15 million dollars.

The concert will be streamed live on Saturday, November 13.
